Primary Party

We had a primary party at Shelyce Maxwell's house for all of the kids in the Deaf Branch. The weather cooperated (it had been threatening rain) and the kids had a great time.

I didn't dare get any close-up shots because the kids all had those big water-squirter things and I was afraid that me (and my camera) would get soaked.

The Relief Society put together a potluck birthday party for Thelma North today at her nursing home. Happy Birthday, Thelma! We love you!

Jim Cook

Jim Cook passed away Thursday night after struggling with cancer for the past year. His daughter, Katie, is one of our sweet little primary students.  It has been amazing to read Jim's story and see his acceptance and faith throughout this trial.

I am so grateful for the chance we got to know Jim and his family this past year. They are an awesome family and have had a profound influence on our lives. He will be greatly missed. On the other hand, how wonderful it must be for him to finally be free of the disease that took his life. I am sure he will do an incredible work on the other side.

The Cook family will be moving soon. We will miss them. I will miss seeing Katie's bright smiling face in primary. The lessons we have learned from their family will stay in our hearts forever!

Jacob Harris's Baptism

After going to Amberley's Baptism, we all enjoyed the Red Cliffs Stake Fair at the Ivins City Park!!

Valentine's Day Party

The kids loved to play the Valentine Bingo. They all got a LOT of treats! There was pies, cookies, and candy!

We had blasts of fun! The kids played the valentine bingo and got a lot of treats for prize! The kids were storming the room! I know that you cannot see the kids but they were totally behind the camera storming!!! What a blast of party! A lot of people were there. A lot of people were just around, chatting, eating, playing and storming around the room! No wonder everyone just loves the party!!
